Chapter 12: A New Season

Days pass.
The sky changes.

The hot sun of summer goes away.
Now the air is cool.
The wind is soft.
Clouds cover the sky.

The trees near the school change.
Green leaves fall.
The ground is full of yellow and brown.

I walk home.
The road is wet.
Rain comes often.
The smell of earth is strong.

At home, my mother makes tea.
The cup is warm in my hands.
I sit near the window.
I watch the rain fall.

Season changes are fast.
One week is sun.
One week is rain.
But life goes on.
School, class, books, faces—
they are all the same.

Yet inside me,
something feels new.
A season also starts in my heart.
