Life in the City
Chapter 31: A Trip to the Beach
It is Sunday morning.
The sun is bright.
The air is warm.
I meet her at the bus stop.
We carry small bags.
She wears a hat.
I wear sunglasses.
The bus comes.
We get on.
People sit and talk.
The bus moves fast.
We see trees, shops, and rivers.
The city becomes smaller.
After one hour,
we see the beach.
The sand is white.
The sea is blue.
Waves move up and down.
We take off our shoes.
We walk on the sand.
The water is cool.
We laugh and play.
We build a small sandcastle.
A dog runs and jumps near us.
We eat sandwiches and drink juice.
We watch the sun.
I say, “The sea is very beautiful.”
She nods, “Yes, I like it too.
The waves are calm.”
After some time,
we take photos.
We collect small shells.
We talk about colors: blue sea, white sand, green trees, yellow sun.
Then we go back to the bus.
The city is far again.
But we feel happy.
I think, Travel is fun.
I learn about nature.
I enjoy time with her.
