Chapter 32: Simple Technology

It is Saturday afternoon.
The sun is bright.
I meet her at the book shop.

She says, “Let’s take pictures today.”
I take my phone from my bag.
She takes hers too.

We walk in the city.
I take a photo of the tall building.
She takes a photo of the flowers.
I send a picture to my friend.
He writes, “Nice photo!”
I smile.

Later, we go to the shop.
I help the owner with the computer.
He shows me:
“Scan the books.
Type the price.
Take the money.”

I try.
I scan the book.
Beep!
I type the price.
I take the money from the customer.
The customer smiles, “Thank you.”
I feel proud.

We also use the internet.
We look for new books online.
We see pictures, titles, and prices.
She points, “I like this one.”
I write it down.

At the end of the day,
we take a bus home.
I think, Technology is easy.
It helps people.
It is fun to learn.
