Chapter 35: At School

It is Monday morning.
The sun is bright.
I feel ready for school.

I take my notebook and pencil case.
I walk to my classroom.
The desk is near the window.
The chair is wooden.

The teacher says, “Good morning, class!”
We say, “Good morning, teacher!”

Today we learn math and science.
In math, I write numbers in my notebook.
I add, subtract, and multiply.

In science, we look at plants and animals.
We talk about history and geography too.
My friend draws a map of our city.
I draw flowers on my paper.

During the break, we talk about our favorite subjects.
I say, “I like art. Drawing is fun.”
My friend says, “I like science. I like animals.”

At the end of the day, the teacher says, “Good work, everyone!”
I feel happy and proud.
I pack my notebook and pencil case.
I think, School is fun.
I like learning many things.
