Life in the City
Chapter 36: Shopping Together
It is Saturday morning.
The sun is bright.
I meet her at the market.
She says, “Let’s buy some clothes today.”
I carry a small bag.
We walk slowly.
First, we see sweaters.
I try a blue sweater.
She tries a red skirt.
We look at gloves, boots, and T-shirts.
The clothes are cheap and expensive.
We compare prices on the price tags.
Next, we go to the bakery.
We buy bread and cake.
Then, we visit the pharmacy.
She buys some medicine.
After that, we go to the bookstore.
I look at new books.
She chooses a book for her cousin.
Before leaving, we stop at a market stall.
We buy fruits: apple, banana, orange.
We also buy vegetables: carrot, tomato, potato.
We carry all the items in our bags.
I feel tired but happy.
I think, Shopping is fun.
It is good to buy things we need.
